Hosted by the Office of County Executive Steuart Pittman, the annual event series aims to provide free public access to the county’s rivers while offering a full lineup of family-friendly recreation and environmental education.

Events are scheduled throughout the summer at waterfront parks across the county. Each festival will feature free boat rides, live music, environmental exhibits, games, crafts, food trucks, and hands-on water activities for all ages. The events are free and open to the public.

“The goal of these events is to provide public water access and inspire our residents to become stewards who will protect the health of our local waterways,” said County Executive Pittman. “River Days provide families an opportunity to get out on the water and fall in love with the place that they live.”

Boat rides are available at no cost, but seating is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting one hour before each scheduled departure. Full schedules, including boat ride times and ticket distribution details, will be released closer to each event.
