A 15 year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police was arrested and charged with drunk driving.  AACOPD officers say that they located Detective I.Preece af the scene of a single-vehicle collission near Ritchie Highway and Jones Station Road, in  Severna Park. The vehicle struck a sign. And the officers noticed that the detective was impaired. Mr. Preece has been administratively suspended with pay pending an Office of Professional Standards investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police.
