The first witness in the prosecution's case against an 18-year-old from Washington, D.C., accused of shooting and killing an Annapolis teenager in September 2021, testified in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. The jury heard from witnesses who discovered the body of 17-year-old Cristian Parada in his Admiral Oaks apartment. The accused is Daniel Delvon Fletcher, who was 16 at the time of the crime. He was arrested in January of '22 and charged with first-degree murder and four firearms-related charges. Parada reportedly identified himself to police as a person in surveillance video and said the shooting was gang related.
