The Governor previews his speech via Twitter: "We have come a long way together over the last eight years changing Maryland for the better. I look forward to having one final opportunity to express how grateful I am for the privilege to serve as governor and share some thoughts about the direction of our state & our country." The address is scheduled for 5 pm eastern.
Next week Democrat Wes Moore, a best-selling author and executive of a non-profit, and his running mate, the incoming Lt. Governor Aruna Miller will take their oaths of office next Wednesday, January 18th at Noon outside of the State House.
