A small plane crashed into Beards Creek in Riva at about 11 am this morning. Anne Arundel County Fire says kayakers assisted them in the area. The Pilot is being transported to AAMC with non-life-threatening injuries. Fire Dept personnel are assisting several kayakers with warming. AACOFD Tweeted, "Great job by all who responded!"
