17 Year Old Arrested for Shooting People with an Orange Tipped Gun

A 17-year-old was arrested after numerous people reported that he used an "Orbeez Gel Blaster," an orange-tipped toy-like gun, at a Ferndale strip mall on Monday, December 19.  Anne Arundel County Police say they talked to victims at the Cromwell Field Shopping Center. Police say a black male juvenile and a white female juvenile on bicycles approached two victims. The male juvenile produced what appeared to be a toy firearm with an orange plastic tip and shot the victim with a gel-type projectile. Other victims did step forward to say that the same thing happened to them. They were able to identify the 17-year-old  who was apprehended by police.
