Man Gets Wallet Snatched by Police Impseronator This Past Weekend

A man was sitting in his car in a parking lot in Glen Burnie at the 100 block of Crain Highway North in Glen Burnie when a man approached him saying that he was an undercover police officer.  He is described as wearing green sweatpants and a dark colored shirt. He asked to see the driver's license. The cop-impersonator reached into the car and snatched the wallet. Police say the suspect fled on foot toward Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Lt. Jacklyn Davis, police spokewoman says those who are approached by someone who claims to be a police officer can ask to see their credentials.  Police are asking those with tips to call to call (410) 222-6135 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at (410) 222-4700.
