The Anne Arundel Fire Department says that it took 56 firefighters about an hour to get a fire under control at 672 Duvall Highway in Pasadena. Neighbors reported the blaze in the one-and-a-half-story dwelling yesterday afternoon at about 3:25. Firefighters say there were no working smoke detectors in the home. Officials say there was $400,000 in damages. The cause is under investigation by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit. The Red Cross is assisting two adult occupants who are displaced as a result of the fire.
