(Millersville, MD) WNAV — Two people are facing drug charges following a traffic stop made by state police on a busy local road. Troopers say a 39-year-old man from Pennsylvania and a 32-year-old woman from Dundalk are charged with possession of drugs, with intent to sell.
The traffic stop was made as they were traveling southbound on I-97, at Benfield Boulevard in the Millersville/Severna Park area. It was just after midnight Wednesday morning.
The trooper found that the woman from Dundalk had four outstanding warrants for arrests on drug related charges. During a vehicle search, troopers recovered 11.2 grams of heroin, 41.8 grams of crack cocaine, 48 Xanax pills, and additional drug paraphernalia, in addition to money.
