(Annapolis, MD) WNAV — Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced that DIY “(Do it Yourself)” at home COVID-19 test kits will soon be available state-wide.
Hogan said Wednesday that the kits are on the way. They will be handed out through county health departments and at local libraries. The kit includes two tests, are easy to do and
result notifications come after fifteen minutes.
Officials encourage you to consider that if the initial test results are positive, you have the virus, and should re-test within three days. Positive test results should lead the patient to quarantine, contact those who may have been exposed, and seek medical advice.
Anne Arundel County is already stocked with self-tests and they are now available at health departments, libraries, and senior activity centers.
