Shipping Container Explodes in Millersville Near Jabez Run

The fire was put out in this shipping container within 30 minutes after fire and rescue arrived at the scene in Millersville.

Millersville, MD (WNAV) — The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is investigating what caused a shipping container to explode this morning in Millersville near Jabez Run.  The incident was first reported on social media at about 9:00 a.m. and firefighters say the fire was put out within 30 minutes of their arrival at the scene. A civilian was taken to Johns Hopkins-Bayview Hospital for burns, according to fire department public information officer Jennifer Maccallair.
