Health officials advise residents in the area near the intersection of Coachway and Trinity Place in the The Downs Community about the rabid animal. They advise that you check your pets for any unusal markings. If your pet has any unexplained injuries, please contact the Department of Health @ 410.222.7254.
Health officials remind residents not to feed wild or stray animals or leave food outside and to make sure your pet has the protection of a rabies vaccine.
The disease requires treatment by a physician if there is an exposure.
