Update from Queen Anne’s County PIO Beth Malasky:

Once again we received an overwhelming response to the at-home COVID-19 tests that were available at our county libraries. Due to high demand, we are currently out of stock and waiting for additional supply. We appreciate your patience and will announce on social media and our websites when we have received an additional supply of test kits. We appreciate your efforts to keep your families and neighbors safe by utilizing the at-home tests. For additional resources for COVID-19 testing visit qaccovid.org

(Annapolis, MD) — WNAV– They got a fresh supply of home Covid19 tests at two Queen Anne’s Public Libraries. But how long will the supply last? Beth Malasky, the county spokeswoman says the last supply ran out in just about two to three hours.

Here’s more information from the county public information officer:

FREE rapid COVID-19 test kits will be available to the public for personal use at both Queen Anne’s County Library locations.

These test kits are for personal use and are limited to one per person, per day, and intended to be used at home.

Each kit will have 2 tests along with instructions and are designed for personal use only. If you require documentation for travel, employment, or other purposes you should verify if an at-home rapid test will satisfy their requirement.

In the instructions, there are directions to report your results and what to do if you test positive.

To reserve an at-home test, contact Queen Anne’s County Library:

Centreville Branch: (410)758-0980
