Millersville, MD (WNAV)- Anne Arundel County Fire officials say the explosion happened about a minute after a 30-year-old man entered the container in a parking lot on Jabez Run shortly after 9 this morning, and suffered life-threatening injuries. A second man 30-year-old man was transported to Bayview Hospital after suffering burns while trying to rescue the first one. Anne Arundel County fire investigators say that the explosion happened when some heavy equipment ignited fumes from a propane gas container that had accumulated in the storage unit. They declared this morning’s explosion and accident. More than 45 firefighters were needed to put the blaze out this morning.
