Maryland Lawmakers Start Legislative Session With $4.6B Surplus

(Annapolis, MD)  —  Maryland lawmakers will be spending the next several weeks figuring out how to spend an unprecedented four-point-six-billion-dollar budget surplus.  Ideas include upgrading parks, bridges and schools.  The 90-day General Assembly session started yesterday.  Ghost guns, climate change and redistricting will also be at the forefront of this year’s session.
