(Annapolis, MD)–WNAV–Maryland Senate President Bill Ferguson today (on Wednesday) announced appointments to the Committee on Reapportionment and Redistricting. The committee is formed to consider matters related to the Congressional and State legislative redistricting maps. Effective immediately Majority Leader Nancy J King is chair of the commission and Sen Antonio Hayes vice-chair. Thirteen other senators make up the group. King previously served as vice-chair of the committee in 2011.
