We are springing forward into Daylight Savings Time, but it will not feel spring like!

Forecasters predict mixed precipitation Saturday evening and overnight temperatures plunging into the low 20s.

Annapolis officials plan to open warming centers for those who need shelter. The Stanton Center on West Washington Street will open for overnight Saturday (3-12) and Sunday (3-13).  Those taking advantage need to arrive before 9 p.m. each evening and pack it up by 7 a.m. the following morning.

The Crisis Response warm line is 410.768.5522.

The official first day of spring is March 20.
