(Annapolis, MD) WNAV — Case numbers for coronavirus continue to drop in Maryland.

Positivity rate for the state continues to drop:  3.37%

Hospitalization numbers dropped by 20 patients.

The state confirmed 751 new cases and 15 Marylanders died in the most recent 24-hour report.

In light of the continuing downward trend of the spread of the virus, several areas of the state are dropping indoor mask mandates and the need to verify vaccine status.

In Anne Arundel County today, face masks are not required indoors for staff or students in classrooms.

All students who ride a bus must still don a face mask for the ride to school.
