Police have arrested two Anne Arundel County teenagers in Ocean City for a robbery that happened in June and another teenage suspect is still at large. Earlier this week Ocean City Police posted that 19-year-old Takala Robinson of Pasadena, and a 16-year-old boy from Glen Burnie, were two out of three suspects in a June 15 robbery. An 18-year-old had reported to police that the trio engaged him in a conversation before robbing him at gunpoint at 16th Street and Philadelphia Avenue in Ocean City.
Ocean City Police say the victim, a witness, and the City Watch camera system, helped them obtain a description of the three suspects. In addition, the City Watch cameras showed that the suspects had discarded some of the victim’s personal property in a trashcan on the Boardwalk at 13th Street. Officers recovered the discarded item and the victim identified the item as one of the things that were stolen.
The two Anne Arundel suspects are now being held in Baltimore County, as they were arrested after a fight in Essex. Now they are charged with armed robbery, robbery, and first- and second-degree assault for alleged crimes in Ocean City. Baltimore County Police have charged them with gun and vehicle theft offenses.
