21-35545 – Burglary – 1200 block of Tyler Ave.  On 12/24 at approximately 11:20 am, officers responded to a burglary in the 1200 block of Tyler Ave. The homeowner called to report that his shed (located in the backyard of his house) was broken into by an unknown person overnight. He reported that a Dewalt saw valued at $320.00 was stolen.

21-35547 – Burglary – Unit block of Cathedral St.  On 12/24 at approximately 11:48 am, officers responded to the unit block of Cathedral Street for a reported burglary. The homeowner advised that part of his residence is rented as an Air BnB. While the residence was occupied by renters the victim’s private home library was broken into. The suspect stole a .45 caliber Taurus handgun from a filing cabinet that was unsecured.

2021-35580 – Shooting – West St/Calvert On 12/24 at approximately 9:52 pm, officers responded to the intersection of West St and Calvert St for a report of an individual stating he was assaulted.  Officers arrived and located an adult male shooting victim.  The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating this incident. This is an active and fluid investigation and we urge anyone with information about this incident to contact our detectives at 410-260-3439. You can also call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP and submit an anonymous tip.  If your tip leads to an arrest or indictment you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

21-35680 – Strong-Armed Robbery – 100 block of Obery Ct. On 12/26 at approximately 3:09 pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Obery Court for a reported strong-armed robbery. The victim said that he was approached by several unknown males. The subjects asked for spare change and when the victim said that he didn’t have any, he was assaulted. The victim was knocked to the ground and he personal property was removed from his pockets by the assailants. Officers conducted a search of the area for the assailants but did not locate them. The victim suffered a busted lip from the assault. Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

21-35688 – Theft – 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave.   On 12/26 at approximately 6:51 pm, officers responded to the 1000 block of Bay Ridge Ave. for a reported theft.  Officers spoke with management who advised that an unknown male entered the store and removed items without permission. The suspect left on foot towards Madison St. towards President St. Total loss to the business was $55.14.
