(Brooklyn Park, MD) — Anne Arundel County Police say a 12-year-old faces assault and other
charges in connection with a carjacking in Brooklyn Park.
The robbery involved three subjects whom police say circled a juvenile walking to his home on 4th Street on the evening of February 28, assaulted him and drove away in his SUV. The victim did not require hospital treatment for his injuries.
Police have charged two subjects in connection with the assault and vehicle theft: an 18-year-old from Baltimore, and the 12-year-old from Bethesda.
The SUV has been returned to the owner.
